Be Loud About What You Love
Joy is not a luxury. Joy is a lifeline.
Color that refuses to apologize.
Laughter that cracks the heaviness.
Ink stained fingers proving you built something the world did not have before.
Finding color in places it has no business being.
Color is a moral imperative.
The things you love are not random.
They are evidence.
They are lineage.
They are the map back to yourself.
Collect what pulls you.
Display it. Wear it. Share it.
Let it take up space right alongside you.
Let yourself want what is fun. That counts too.
Kindness can be loud.
Softness can be strong.
Giving a damn is cool.
Your sticker collection is a museum of your heart.
Paint on your hands means you chose creation over numbness.
The projects you return to again and again are love letters to yourself.
Take up space.
Be seen.
Obsessions build connection.
Joy creates community.
Creativity brings you home to yourself.
Play is not childish. Play is how we remember ourselves.
Live in full color.
Love in full volume.
There is no too much here.
This is a place for feeling in italics and taking up space in caps.
Your truth deserves to be heard.
Let it land. Let it linger.
Stay tender. Stay tough.
Lead with heart.
Make things.
Give a damn.
Be loud about what you love.
Founded by artist and educator Natalie Keller Pariano, NatterDoodle started with a handful of hand-lettered doodles on Instagram and grew into a global celebration of joy in tiny things.
Hi, I'm Natalie! Founder of NatterDoodle, professional color enthusiast, and your new favorite maximalist. I left a 12-year career in higher education, where I served as a dean and a national award-winning educator, to build a life rooted in creativity, connection, and an audacious belief in joy.
I've since taught creative workshops at more than 200 colleges across the United States and led programs for companies like Twitch, Lululemon, Victoria's Secret, and Bath & Body Works. I've taken the stage at Craftcation, Midwest Craft Con, the Chicago Planner Conference, the Altitude Summit, and NACA National Convention.
Named one of the top five artists in Columbus, my licensed designs have appeared in retailers like HomeGoods, Big Lots, Ross, Tuesday Morning, and many others. At home in Ohio, NatterDoodle was voted the number one specialty store in the region. My work has been featured in Columbus Monthly, Columbus Alive, and the Columbus Dispatch.
When I'm not creating, you'll find me hosting dinner parties, traveling with my family, or plotting my next creative adventure. I believe in the power of color, community, and saying yes to the things that light you up.
